Knead Wine Club
Sommelier Driven - Knead Wine is owned by me, Jarad Slipp, one of only 275 Master Sommeliers in the world. Every bottle of wine that we want to introduce you to is personally tasted and vetted by me. There are no mass-produced wines that you are likely to find at the grocery store or big box store.
What’s The Frequency Kenneth? – Email boxes get full. Even my favorite brands I don’t like clogging up my inbox. We’ll check in with you each season (so four times a year). This gives us the opportunity to better curate fun themes, take deeper dives and send you something meaningful and worth trying. If you need more wine, more often - call us and we'll make it happen!
Bonus Round – Ok, I said we’d offer wines four times a year, but there will be an extra holiday offering. Maybe the most popular thing we’ve offered at Knead Wine over the last few years are the Holiday Advent Calendars. Twelve individually wrapped mystery half-bottles that track the 12 days of Christmas, or the 8 days of Hanukkah with some spares for any other holiday you may be celebrating at that time. (These are super-limited as there are only so many great half-bottles floating around out there.)
Themes – Each quarter will have its own theme that will take you around the world. Sometimes it will be a broad look at a region such as Sicily, another comparing various styles of Pinot Noirs from around the world or oddities from grapes you’ve never heard of.
Cost & What You Get– The amount of bottles you receive will vary according to the different themes. I.e.: 1er Cru Burgundy costs a fair shake more than Pinot Grigio. That said, expect 3-6 bottles per quarter with costs running approximately $250 in total per quarter, give or take.
Taking Possession - It is, and unfortunately I’m not being funny, much easier to make, sell and ship grenades than wine. As such, we are limited as to which states we can ship to. Currently we can ship to DC and Virginia, arrange a pickup in our store in Middleburg, VA, or a team member will personally deliver to you within 50-ish miles.
Fine Print – There isn’t any. You have no obligations to buy, if you’re feelin’ the theme - cool. If not, there’ll be a new one next quarter. That said, these wines don’t come in unlimited quantities and preferential love will be given to those who are consistent fans.
Bottom line - Awesome wines, picked by me. 4 times a year. ~$250 a quarter. Sign up below for access to the wine club and for instructions on purchasing each season's selection. Arrange for delivery, pickup or shipping depending on your location.
